Mr. Chiao has extensive experience in business, real estate, probate and trust litigation and also provides professional consultation for businesses with respect to legal transactions and for families with their estate planning needs.

Mr. Chiao is an experienced negotiator and litigator in the state and federal court systems. He has acheived impressive results for his clients, including a California appellate court decision worth $1.5 million for business fraud. Prior to starting his law practice, Mr. Chiao worked under a Second District, California Court of Appeals judge, assisting her in drafting appellate opinions. He has also worked for the California Attorney General’s Office in prosecuting several high profile telecommunications companies. Mr. Chiao has also gained prosecutorial litigation experience with the State Bar of California, and San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Chiao is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has travelled extensively throughout Asia, particularly China and Taiwan.

Mr. Chiao is a California licensed lawyer with an undergraduate degree (B.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley, a graduate degree (M.A.) from Stanford University, and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Southern California, School of Law.
